Farmers Restaurant Group Announces Exciting Expansion for Their Founding Farmers Brand

Founding Farmers King of Prussia Set to Open

Farmers Restaurant Group announces the expansion of the Founding Farmers restaurant brand. The first outpost outside the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) region, Founding Farmers King of Prussia will open in the rapidly expanding and dynamic King of Prussia Town Center, just outside the great city of Philadelphia, PA.

Scheduled to open in the spring of 2017, Founding Farmers King of Prussia will welcome guests to a two level, 14,000 square-foot space with seating for just over 300 hundred. This new outpost will serve quality food and drink, the recipe of which has garnered this brand success and accolades since opening the first store in Washington, D.C. in 2008.

Working closely with partners at North Dakota Farmers Union, our management team is focused on growing this new venture with the same mission implemented at all the Founding Farmers restaurants: with farmers, and the farming community, at the root – striving for sustainability and originality at every turn.

“This is a chance for us to create another evolution of Founding Farmers and remain committed to be a collection, never a chain, of restaurants,” said owner, Dan Simons. “From design and menus, to special and unique programming, the advancement and growth of these areas are already in progress, and exciting!”

And grow we will. Stay tuned for the exciting opening of our new concept, Farmers & Distillers. Slated to open in Mt Vernon Square in downtown DC in the fall of 2016, we’re working closely with our amazing partners, such as the creative team at Stroik Lighting Design, to bring this innovative concept to life. Also, we’ve another Founding Farmers outpost in the works for Reston, VA in early 2017.
