Founding Farmers Tysons Opens! It’s All in The Details

TysonsLogo_Web_Color copyAs any restaurant consulting company knows, watching your hard work come to fruition is amazing! And for our team of food & beverage consultants, today is one of those great days as our client, Farmers Restaurant Group, opens the third installment of their highly successful Founding Farmers brand of restaurants.

As the conceptual team and partners behind the Founding Farmers brand, all of the restaurants are a labor of love. But with Founding Farmers Tysons, located in Tysons, VA, we’ve matured as a team and aimed to push the innovation and ingenuity envelope even further

Paying homage to life on a rustic Virginia farm, the restaurant offers guests a mix of great nostalgic, whimsical touch points and modern amenities, and of course the delicious, fresh-from-the-farm food they’ve grown to love from Founding Farmers. From the in-house butcher’s studio and juice cleanse program/cold pressed juice bar to churning butter in-house to the ‘micro-climate’ areas created to transport guests to individual spaces found in a traditional Virginia farmhouse, we are so proud of the ingenuity our team has brought to Founding Farmers Tysons.

Perhaps our most near and dear elements though are the cute critters and whimsical designs that “live” within the space. The specially created, adorable design elements, such as a baby black bear, a 5’ fuchsia duck, and glowing gold in-laid eggs, are now part of the Founding Farmers Tysons family.

Our design concepts were brought to life by the amazing design and artistry team at SIGN IT Signs & Design. We have highlighted their transformation of the Founding Farmers Tysons adorable baby black bear below. Inspired by the baby black bears found in remote areas of Virginia, the FFT baby black bear sits up on his hind legs, with his nose in the air in order to take in all of the restaurant’s delicious aromas.

We hope the Founding Farmers Tysons guests are as charmed by the restaurant space, the food, the design, and the family of critters as we are.
