Farmers Restaurant Group to Open Second Virginia Location
We’re excited to announce that Farmers Restaurant Group is opening a forth Founding Farmers. This time our doors will open in Reston, VA, and serve as our second location in Northern Virginia. Get ready Reston Station, here we come!
Our devoted and loyal guests, who frequent our current restaurants, have made this move possible. When our team began planning for another Virginia outpost, they found the perfect fit within the Reston Station development. With its convenient location adjacent to the Wiehle-Reston East Metro stop on the Silver Line, this property will include corporate offices, specialty retail shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
As announced in today’s Washington Business Journal, we have signed a leasing deal with Comstock Partners for a 10,000 sq ft space within the burgeoning and accessible Reston Station. Expected to open in late 2016/early 2017.
“As we expand, we’re passionately committed to evolving with each new location,” Dan Simons, Farmers Restaurant Group concept developer, said. “Each restaurant will always have its own personality and charm, from the interior design to the menu items. You can expect to see something different at Reston Station, including a rooftop-dining scene.” This news accompanies other big plans for FRG. As previously announced, a new concept is under construction for the farmer-owned group, soon-to-be sister restaurant of Founding Farmers and Farmers Fishers Bakers — Farmers & Distillers is set to open Fall 2016.
