Founding Spirits Pours Our Craft Vodka & More at the DC Distillers Festival

Founding Spirits, our small-batch distillery located in the heart of Farmers & Distillers, joined the party at the DC Distillers Festival this past weekend.

This curated, three-session, all-day, all-night event featured 1920’s jazz bands and a burlesque show. Gatsby-era costumes were encouraged and plentiful in this speakeasy environment. Guests sampled over 60 craft spirits to their heart’s content from over 20 craft distillers, including our very own DC-based distillery, Founding Spirits.

We poured samples of our spirits, including our craft vodka, and mixed three of our signature craft cocktails, including: Buck’s Blood Orange, pictured above, (Founding Spirits Vodka, lemon, ginger, honey, aperol); Boulevardier (Founding Spirits American Whiskey, Founding Spirits Arroyo’s “Never Bitter” Amaro, campari); and our Amaro Daiquiri (Founding Spirits Arroyo’s “Never Bitter” Amaro, Founding Farmers Rye Whisky, orgeat, lime).

This one of a kind annual event was held at the Long View Gallery in downtown DC. The day and night included a lot of mingling and chatting, tasting and relaxing, and even some dancing. We were delighted to be a part of this year’s party.
