Cookies and Other Computer Information
“Cookies” are small text files that are transferred from websites to your computer’s hard drive that may serve a variety of purposes (web beacons, Flash cookies and other similar technologies may also be used for these purposes). When you use our website, we, like many other websites, place a cookie on your computer to identify you to provide a more convenient experience and to place advertisements for our products and services and those of third parties on our website and third-party sites. If you wish, you can visit our website without cookies by turning them off in your Internet or mobile browser, but then certain features, including adding items to a shopping cart, making a purchase, or making a reservation, may not be available. We may use “pixel tags” (e.g. web beacons or similar technologies) that allow us to know if a particular web page was visited, an email opened, links in the email utilized, transactions from online purchases, and whether a particular advertisement or email is effective.
We or our partners may also use Flash cookies (also known as Local Stored Objects) or other similar technologies. A Flash cookie is a small data file placed on a computer using Adobe Flash or similar technology that may be built into your computer or downloaded or installed by you to your computer. We use these technologies to personalize and enhance your online experience, facilitate processes, and personalize and store your settings. Flash cookies may help our website visitors to, for example, set volume preference associated with a video experience and perform surveys. They help us improve our Site by measuring which areas are of greatest interest to customers. They may be recognized by other sites or by our marketing or business partners. Flash cookies are different from browser cookies and the cookie management tools provided by your browser may not remove Flash cookies. Click here to learn how to manage privacy and storage settings for Flash cookies. If you disable Flash cookies or other similar technologies, please be aware that you may not have access to certain features and services that make your online experience more efficient and enjoyable.
We may also use web beacons, which are electronic images that may be used on our websites or in our emails. We use web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and to tell if an email has been opened and acted upon.

At this time, the World Web Consortium has not yet established universal standards for recognizable Do Not Track Signals and therefore, Farmers Restaurant Group does not recognize Do Not Track for all technologies. If and when a standard is set, we may revisit this policy.

We may use third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your visits to the Site and other websites and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. These advertising companies serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated sites, and some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information collected about your visits to the Site and elsewhere over time. Other companies may also use such technology to advertise on our Site. You have the choice to tell us not to collect and use this information. If you would prefer not to participate in the services offered through these solutions, you can always opt-out of this activity by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website by clicking https://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. If you configure your browser to reject cookies when you visit these pages, or if you subsequently erase your cookies, use a different device or change web browsers, your opt-out may become ineffective and may need to be repeated. Browser settings, including do not track signals and other mechanisms, will not affect data collection and not constitute an opt-out of advertising-related cookies, personalized third-party advertising or promotional messages from Farmers Restaurant Group; you must use the opt-out choice described herein in order to opt out from such promotional messages.
